About the author
Hello, my name is Sean McLaughlin and am currently a student at Northern Virginia Community College. I created this website for a History of Western Civilization course I am currently in, which requires a Digital Media Assignment. I chose the topic of early stone tools because I have an interest in Stone knapping (making tools out of stone). Unfortunately living in Northern Virginia, the only materials I only have access to Quartz, and Quartizite Materials, instead of the flint or chert materials which are easier to work with. I hope my love of stone tools rubs off on some of you, and that I can educate some who are unfamiliar with out ancestors stone work.
